This season, Jevon Carter brought his Treadmill Mentality from WVU to the Memphis Grizzlies as a second round pick. He spent his first season shifting back-and-forth between Memphis’ G-League team (the Hustle) and the parent organization. That allowed him to develop more on the court as a rookie and his progress showed late in the season.
He heads into the offseason coming off an impressive performance in the last game of the year for Memphis against the Golden State Warriors where he scored a career-high 32 points. He scored in double-digits in three of the last four games.
The strong finish catapults him into the summer with an eye towards earning a larger role with the team next season. He finished his rookie campaign having played in 39 games averaging 4.4 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and nearly one steal per contest.
Having made an impression on the Grizz, the team put together this highlight reel for Carter. Enjoy.
